Miss Intercontinental Australia 2019 

"I am Hannah Swart and I am so proud to call myself your Miss Intercontinental Australia 2019!

"Everything happens for a reason" is a quote that has resonated with me for most of my life. From 2 years of age I have had to adapt to changes in my life, as my family had lived in 4 countries by the time I was 13. I am so grateful that I have had the chance to amerce myself different cultures and develop a great understanding for people. Having these experiences at a young age has taught me so much such as; being able to adapt to the situation, emotional strength, a great openness and positivity to all opportunities. 

This quote really rings true for me now as my childhood has lead me to being a proud Australian citizen and having the pleasure of representing this beautiful country.

I have always had dreams of being on the stage which finally kicked off for me when I was 14 and was enrolled in a modelling school. Over the past 8 years I have been persistent in living out this dream while studying and now in full time employment. Pageants, however have taught me an entire new array of life lessons. I love how simple it is to help others and make a difference to their lives.  I also now know that nothing in life will be handed to you, you have to work hard, be determined and persistent. I have proved this by continuing to come back to pageants over the last 5 years and finally achieving my goals. 

 

I am so excited for my reign and hope I can inspire others to be their best selves regardless of their situation!"
